RAA’s January Art Schmooze

The popular tradition of the River Arts Alliance Art Schmooze returns with this in-person gathering! (Rescheduled following December 10 weather postponement.)
Join us to:
• Meet new RAA Arts Administrator, Johanna Rupprecht, and current Board members
• Learn about the benefits of RAA membership and become a member if you aren’t already
• Learn about the opportunity to serve on RAA’s Board of Directors
• Share your ideas and feedback to help shape RAA’s next Strategic Plan
• Network with fellow artists and arts supporters
• Celebrate, enjoy good food and beverages, and have fun!
NOTE: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or of a negative test within the past 72 hours will be required in order to attend. Accepted proof of vaccination will be either your official vaccination card, or the card issued to you by the Winona Arts Center if your vaccination status has been verified at an event there this fall or winter.

Donation Drive: Art & Craft Supplies for Refugee Families
RAA recently learned that there is a major need for art and craft supplies and children’s activity materials for Afghan refugee families currently living at Fort McCoy near Sparta, WI. At our January 7 Art Schmooze, we will collect donations to pass along to volunteers there.
Items especially needed are: acrylic paint and appropriate paper to paint on, sticker books, dot-to-dot books, beads, pipe cleaners, 50-piece puzzles, dollar store gift cards.
Items NOT needed at this time are: yarn, pencils, colored pencils, markers.
