Artist Gallery Talk with Joan Porter-Einsman

Join Joan Porter-Einsman within the current art show at the Winona County History Center, “Winona Impressions – Winona Expressions.” On Saturday, April 2 at 1 pm, Joan will be in the gallery to share more about her work and inspirations for the show.

Joan was an Art Instructor at the University of Minnesota and several other colleges and Art Centers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. She is an active Art exhibitor in the United States, Canada, and Europe. History, personal experiences, and nature inspire Joan’s work. Joan uses ink, watercolor, acrylic, and often mixed media.

Also, be part of the Shakespeare Inspired Group Show – Application Due May 1, 2022
The Winona County Historical Society and River Arts Alliance are seeking all types of artists to apply to exhibit artwork inspired by William Shakespeare! The show will be during the summer  in conjunction with the Great River Shakespeare Festival.  Submit up to 2 Shakespeare-inspired works for consideration by May 1, 2022 at winonahistory.org/artists.
