River Arts Alliance member Joan Porter-Einsman currently has work included in the Mississippi River Stories exhibit, running from April 18 through June 6, hosted by the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization (MWMO) in Minneapolis.

From MWMO: “Mississippi River Stories features a collection of visual artwork created by 16 different artists. Each piece is inspired by a river story collected from around the Twin Cities by University of St. Thomas students through a research partnership with the Sustainable Communities Partnership, the MWMO, and the Natural Heritage Project.”

Learn more and view an online gallery of the artwork included in the exhibit at MWMO’s website here.

An artist open house will be held on April 23 from 1-3 pm. Meet the artists and learn more about the student research that inspired the artwork. Light refreshments provided.
