Patina will be performing one more time in Winona this fall at Peter’s Biergarten on Saturday, October 8, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Come join us for an evening of Celtic-inspired and original tunes. Our last gig at the Biergarten was standing room only, so come early!
Patina is a Celtic-inspired band featuring violin, whistle, flute, bass, bodhrán, accordion, and guitar. The band plays mixed Celtic, folk and original music. We are a 4-member collaboration springing from the love of many types of music; our members are Kara Mae Prosen, Sue Lee Ringwelski, Connie Dretske and Greg Peterson.
Patina plays around the Rochester/Winona/La Crosse area at many different venues: the Irish fests, restaurants, wineries, pubs, hotels and of course for weddings, parties and anniversaries! We LOVE to bring our lively music to anyone who enjoys the fun sounds of Celtic, folk, originals and easy listening with some covers thrown in for a change of pace.
Kara Mae is an award-winning fiddler who plays the violin & sings; Connie plays the double bass, flute, Celtic whistles & sings, Sue Lee plays the guitar and sings and to round out the band; and Greg plays the bodhrán, accordion, guitar and Celtic whistles. Together we play a great mix of Celtic-based music that will work in nearly all venues.
Greg Peterson and Connie Dretske are members of the River Arts Alliance. To learn more about the benefits of membership, please visit: https://riverartsalliance.org/membership/.
