New Jazz Quartet to Premier December 3 In Winona, MN

Saxophonist and flutist John Paulson will unleash a new contemporary jazz group dubbed “The UnReal Jazz Quartet” December 3 at Wellington’s Pub & Grill in Winona. Joining him will be Scott Gerry (guitar), Michael Sloane (bass) and drummer Miles Johnston. The group originated this fall with the collective goal of stepping away from the often over played book of jazz standards and developing a more challenging repertoire of contemporary jazz selections. The 7:00 pm concert is free and family friendly. Wellington’s Pub & Grill is located at 1429 West Service Drive in Winona.
