Watercolor Class with Faye Schoen at WAC

Pink coneflowers, also known as echinacea, will be the subject for our next watercolor class with Faye Schoen at the Winona Arts Center on August 25th OR August 26th from 1:00-4:00 pm. This painting will be on 8 x 10 high-quality, watercolor paper. The class will focus on positive as well as negative painting. Negative painting is extensively used in watercolor in an effort to highlight the focal point in a painting. Participants will also learn how to use fade out techniques to create interesting out-of-focus backgrounds.
All materials, patterns and instruction are included. A light snack, coffee or tea will be provided at no charge. Fee for the class is $40 for WAC members and $45 for non-members.
