Deanne Mohr, Piano: The Story of Babar (and Other Musical Tales)

Canadian pianist and Winona State faculty member Deanne Mohr will perform a recital of works that celebrate the art of storytelling through music on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:30 in the WSU DuFresne Performing Arts Center Recital Hall. Featured on the program is Francis Poulenc’s “The Story of Babar, the Little Elephant,” narrated by Eric Brisson in the original French with English surtitles. Also included on the program are works by Bach-Busoni, Beethoven, and Debussy. Admission for this event is free.
