Winona Drum Circle at Old Main

Katwa Ngari will bring the Winona Drum Circle to Old Main in Galesville on Sunday, April 14 at 3:00 p.m. The theme of the performance is “On the Way to Church.” The Drum Circle appeared at Old Main a year ago to introduce the audience to a number of drumbeats from different countries in West Africa. Katwa, who grew up in Kenya, is the son of a pastor. This year we will we will hear beats that could be heard in church or on the way to church.

Refreshments will be served in the gallery where the Coulee Region Woodturners and Mississippi Mornings watercolorists are holding a beautiful art show.

Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for people in high school and younger. A sign at W Gale Ave. and 12th St. points south to Old Main at 20869 College Ave.
