Hendrickson Organ Recital June 19 at Central

Central Lutheran’s year-long celebration of their magnificent Hendrickson Pipe Organ will continue June 19 from noon to 1 p.m. with a performance by Houston, Minnesota native Noah Carlson. Works by J.S. Bach, Dietrich Buxtehude, Flor Peeters, Henri Mulet, and others will be featured. The recital is free and open to all. Donations collected from a freewill offering will support the instrument’s upcoming renovation.

Noah Carlson started playing the organ for his hometown church Cross of Christ Lutheran in Houston, MN. He began his organ studies with Rose Weichert and studied with Erik Floan and A. Eric Heukeshoven. Noah continued his organ studies at Yale University and graduated with a B.A. in Statistics and Data Science. He is currently Organist and Accompanist at St. Barnabas Lutheran Church in Plymouth, MN.
