Next Hendrickson Organ Recital August 21
Central Lutheran’s year-long celebration of their magnificent Hendrickson Pipe Organ continues Wednesday, August 21 from noon to 1 pm with a performance by Winona organist Daniel Lewis. Music by Bach, Mendelssohn, Biersch, and Manz will be featured. The recital is free and open to all. Donations collected from a freewill offering will support the instrument’s upcoming renovation.
Daniel Lewis is the Director of Music at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church and School in Winona, MN. Within that role, Daniel collaborates in worship planning, leads the congregation from the organ and piano, directs the choir and handbell choir, and teaches music to grades K-5. Daniel has given several organ recitals around southeastern Minnesota.
