Join local author, Rick Hall (in collaboration with the Heart of Winona organization), for an evening of storytelling through all mediums: animated film, narration, illustration, and print.

Immerse yourself in a suspenseful southern gothic tale from the bygone era of 1920s prohibition. This dramatized animated short, written and narrated by author Rick Hall, is told from the first-person perspective of a 14-year-old Irish immigrant boy. Original illustrations and animations, created by artist Natalia Slattery, visually tell the story as this haunting tale unfolds. Contains mature language and themes.

Book signing and reception prior to film screening. Limited copies available for purchase during reception. Purchase in advance on Amazon and bring your copy for signing. Tickets are available here.
