The American Alliance of Museums says more people visit art museums, science centers, historic houses or sites, zoos, or aquariums than attend professional sporting events. Support for museums is robust regardless of political persuasion. 96% of Americans would approve of lawmakers who acted to support museums. Museums contribute $50 billion to the U.S. economy each year.

Membership is a great way to support your local history museum. The income it generates is an important part of the WCHS operating budget. Membership is in the top three income sources for this non-profit community driven organization. Your support creates jobs, care for collections, educational opportunities for the public, and more.
