Sunday, July 20 | 9:30 am
Lake Park Bandshell | Winona
Freewill Offering Supports the Winona Immigration Network (WIN)
On July 20, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the Lake Park Bandshell, numerous Winona area Christian congregations will gather for their third annual ecumenical worship service. The participating churches are First Congregational Church, Faith Lutheran Church, Grace Presbyterian Church, Central Lutheran Church, Lutheran Campus Center, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, and Wesley United Methodist Church.
In 2024, the service was attended by more than 300 people. After two years in Winona’s Unity Park, the service moves to Lake Park Bandshell for easier access, parking, and benches for seating.
The service will feature uplifting and familiar hymns such as He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands and We Gather Together. A choir with members from the participating congregations will sing We Shall Overcome and Go Ye Into the World. The sacrament of Holy Communion will be offered, and everyone present will be fully welcomed to participate no matter their affiliation. A freewill offering will be directed to the Winona Immigration Network (WIN).
All are welcome to join in the worship service. In case of inclement weather, the service will be held in the sanctuary of Central Lutheran Church – 259 W. Wabasha St. Please contact A. Eric Heukeshoven at 507-457-7144 or aeheukeshoven@centrallutheranchurch.org for more information.
