Winona Brass Band to present Christmas Joy! on December 14th
The Winona Brass Band is getting into the spirit of Christmas as they prepare for a holiday concert on Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 am at Central Lutheran Church. It’s going to be a festive day at Central Lutheran with the popular WELCA Holiday Bake Sale starting at 9:00 am in the Fellowship Hall (Rosettes, krumkaka, lefse and more), plus a craft sale in the narthex, the Brass Band concert in the sanctuary from 11:00-11:45, and soup/sandwich lunch. All are welcome to enjoy the festivities!
The Winona Brass Band, directed by Dr. Janet Heukeshoven, will perform a wide variety of familiar Christmas carols. The audience will be invited to participate in a carol sing-a-long as part of the concert, families are encouraged to attend.
All Winona Brass Band concerts are free and open to all. Donations are accepted to support the group’s mission to bring concerts to a diverse audience free of charge. Funds from the bake, craft, and luncheon donations will be donated to a variety of community and church projects.
