Sounds of the Season with Winona Brass Band December 13th
Get into the holiday spirit with the Winona Brass Band as they return to Central Lutheran Church
to present a festive concert on December 13 at 11:00 am.
It’s going to be a full day at Central
Lutheran with the popular Holiday Bake Sale starting at 9:00 am in Grace Hall – rosettes,
krumkake, lefse and more, plus a craft sale. The Brass Band concert will be in the sanctuary from
11:00-11:45 followed by a soup/sandwich lunch.
All are welcome to join in the holiday
festivities!
The Winona Brass Band, directed by Dr. Janet Heukeshoven, will perform a wide variety of
familiar Christmas carols. The audience can even sing-along at this family-friendly event.
Winona Brass Band concerts are free and open to all. Donations are accepted to support the
group’s mission to bring their unique style of music to a diverse audience free of charge.
The Winona Brass Band is a non-profit community ensemble with members from throughout the
region. If you’re a brass or percussion player and are interested in membership opportunities
please contact Janet Heukeshoven at jheukesh@smumn.edu or WBB board president, John Helm
