The Ryan Picone Quartet is led by guitarist and composer Dr. Ryan Anthony Picone. A devoted acolyte of the celebrated guitarist Stéphane Wrembel, Ryan’s music is deeply connected to the foundational spirit of Django Reinhardt, yet it draws influence from — from , Choro, Nuevo Tango, Raga, Flamenco, Maqam, Cuban son montuno to, Post-Minimalist, and Classical traditions — each woven seamlessly into the fabric of the quartet’s musical identity.
