H3O Jazz Trio and Two Fathoms Brewing dedicate this month’s Jazz Jam to the Winona County Historical Society in anticipation of their full schedule of History of the River cruises. Weather permitting, the monthly Jazz Jam will be outside on the brewery’s spacious patio Sunday May 17, 2026, from 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.

The widely popular History on the River educational cruise series returns this summer. Join the Winona County Historical Society on the river to celebrate local history, storytelling, culture, the arts, and more. From May through September, each month offers a different program with two time options, one at 4 p.m. and another at 6 p.m.

H3O Jazz Trio and Two Fathoms Brewing (formerly Island City) have helped support local nonprofits with over $80,000 in total donations thanks to the generosity of Jazz Jam patrons! Last month’s Jazz Jam contributed $x1,390 supporting the Friends of the Winona Public Library. In addition to H3O matching all donations, Two Fathoms Brewing contributes 20% of their Jazz Jam Sunday profits!

Everyone wishing to sing, play, or cheer on their friends is welcome to join the H3O Jazz Trio at Two Fathoms Brewing Company’s monthly Jazz Jam! Interested players can choose from a wide selection of songs. Music is available from the Hal Leonard Real Book series, bring your own music, or just name that tune!

Come early to enjoy a Two Fathom’s beverage and enjoy an afternoon of great music with H3O Jazz Trio and friends … all while showing your support for our community!

About the H3O Jazz Trio
H3O Jazz Trio features a father and his two sons. Now in their 14 th year, the trio began playing together when the younger son, Max, was only 14 years old. Along with older brother Hans on drums and vibes and dad Eric on the piano, the group was asked to play for a private pool party and haven’t stopped since!

H3O Jazz Trio performs a wide variety of jazz styles including original music. They have worked as the rhythm section for numerous area professionals including Minnesota Music Hall of Fame’s Les Fields, The D’Sievers, and Dr. John Paulson. Appearances include Gray Duck Theater, Coffeehouse, Rochester City Jazz Fest, Castle Community, Midwest Music Fest, Great River Shakespeare Festival, HBC25’s Artwork Winona, Free Family Concert Series, Blooming Grounds Coffee House, 1928 Cocktails & Bites, Sweet Beats Jazz & Dessert Lounge, Winona County Historical Society, Steele County Historical Society, Minnesota Marine Art Museum, Winghaven Pizza Farm, Salem Glen Winery, Danzinger Vineyards, Merrick State Park, Rhythms by the River (Fountain City, WI), Wednesdays in the Park (Buffalo City, WI), Thesis Beer Project, Ride the Ridges, Canadian Honker, Grace Presbyterian Church, Faith Lutheran Church, Central Lutheran Church, Lutheran Campus Center, KTTC-TV, WXOW-TV, WKBT-TV, KQAL Radio, MPR News, Minnesota Today, and many private events.

Based in Winona, MN, the trio hosts a monthly Jazz Jam at Two Fathom Brewing Company usually on the third Sunday of every month from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.
