Please join us for the opening of Linda Sue Eastman”s latest exhibit entitled Farfetched Fish.  The opening is from 1:00-4:00 pm with a talk from the artist at 2:00.  The exhibit runs through November 23 with gallery hours on Saturdays & Sundays from 1:00-4:00.

Linda Sue Eastman’s school of fish was created with smiles, imagination, and fine technique.  Starting with one simple knit fish she grabbed the idea and swam with it, making a  plan to write a book others could use as inspiration.  Readers can use her book as inspiration for creating knitted fish using their own choice of yarn, color, pattern, and embroidery.    The Exhibit takes you from start to finish of her years-long project.   You are invited to attend the exhibit and wonder at the patterns and the fish, including a peek into Eastman’s artist copy of her book.

Eastman will be providing fish knitting classes during the month of November, one for new/learning knitters, and one for those with basic knitting skills.  Look for the details of the classes on our website, FB page, and our November WAC at a Glance.
