The Winona Arts Center welcomes Betsy Midthun for a Spring to Summer Pastel Painting Class – Birds, Bees and Blooms, Saturday May 16 from 10am to 4pm. $45 members/$50 non-members. Join Betsy to capture the fresh growth and vivid colors of the spring/summer season in the painting medium of pastel. Ideal for beginners and those with more advanced experience. Attendees will experience three different types of painting surfaces and have access to use a variety of pastels. If you don’t have pastels, no worries! Winona Arts Center has a nice set of beginner’s pastels free to use. Participants will work on three paintings which will include: Floral or edible still life to warm up, spring/summer local landscape and Bird, bees or animal on 5×5 canvas.
