Jazz saxophonist, composer and bandleader Dr. John Paulson will present a free pre-concert talk February 1 at the Winona Friendship Center. In addition to discussing upcoming concerts and recordings, his presentation will include a comparison/contrast between his music and the popular big band jazz of earlier times as well as a brief description of how he writes and arranges music for his own band.
