Annemarie Jacir’s acclaimed film, Palestine ’36 recounts the 1936-1939 Arab revolt against British colonial rule during the Mandate period, in a sweeping story of resistance, identity, and liberation. There will be a free screening in Winona on Monday, September 28 at 5:30pm at Winona State University’s Stark Hall, Room 103. No reservations needed. This event is supported by The Winona State University Faculty Association, The Cedar Tree Project, and the Frozen River Film Festival.
