Masterworks Series: Vivaldi on Fire: September 19-20
Antonio Vivaldi, nicknamed the “Red Priest” for his red hair and ordination, was a virtuoso composer whose music exuded a spirited, almost madcap brilliance. His works radiated follia—a playful, irresistible energy that thrilled audiences of his time. Known not only for his musical genius but also for his colorful personal life, Vivaldi’s romantic escapades and occasional scandals were the talk of his era. Mezzo-soprano Clara Osowski brings his music to life with seductive power, delivering sacred and operatic arias with captivating intensity.
