Winona Brass Band Spring Concert Sunday April 12

Join the Winona Brass Band for the finale of their 32nd season as they present From England to Minnesota at the Winona Middle School Auditorium on Sunday, April 12 at 3:00 pm. The ensemble is excited to welcome guest composer- conductor Dr. Jack Stamp to this performance. The spring concert will link British Brass Band repertoire from England with the deep roots of Minnesota British Brass Bands.

The concert will feature a variety of works composed and conducted by Dr. Jack Stamp. (https://jackstamp.com/) Stamp is an active composer, conductor and music educator in both concert band and brass band genres who also performs as a percussionist with the Lake Wobegon Brass Band. Recently serving as International Composer in Association to the world-renowned Grimethorpe Colliery Brass Band, Dr. Stamp’s compositions have been performed by leading ensembles worldwide. The WBB is honored to welcome Stamp to Winona and introduce his music to their local audience.

All Winona Brass Band concerts are free and open to all. Donations are accepted to support the group’s mission to enhance the cultural environment of Winona by performing three concerts per year.
