Red Wing Arts 2023 Poet Artist Collaboration, an exhibit of poetry and artwork, can be seen at the Red Wing Arts Depot Gallery through June 18. Each poem selected for the collaboration became the inspiration for an original work of art. River Arts Alliance member Lorraine Kilmartin’s poem, “Her Confession,” is among those included in this juried exhibit. A Celebration of Poetry & Art Event will be held on Sunday, April 30 from 2-5 pm at the St. James Hotel. Tickets can be purchased at www.redwingarts.org.
Poets whose work is featured in the exhibit will also take part in readings at the Depot Gallery on Sunday afternoons in May. Lorraine will be among those reading selections from their work on May 7 at 2 pm.
