Wesley United Methodist Church | 114 W Broadway

Waterscape photos by Rev. Jim Riley on loan from the Old Main Cultural Center in Galesville, WI, are on display at Wesley United Methodist Church in Winona through February 11. They include photos of Winona from the Mississippi River, the Cathedral of St. George from the Grand Canal in Venice and the Notre Dame Cathedral from the River Seine in Paris. The comparison is striking. The photo collection includes a variety of waterscapes that invite the viewer to think of Jesus’ baptism and reflect on one’s own experiences with water. The photos are in the narthex; they may be viewed when the church is open or call the church office at 507-452-6783 for an appointment.
