The Winona Symphony Orchestra (WSO) is excited to present the final symphonic concert of the 2024-2025 season, entitled A Season of Renewal & Awakening. A pre-concert talk by the conductor will kick-off the evening at 7 pm and also mark the completion of the WSO’s first professional recording project with the release of their CD. The CD highlights music by Minnesota composers and will be available for purchase at the event.
Featuring WSO favorite guest artists Clara Osowski and Alan Dunbar, the program will revisit Raspberry Island Dreaming by Libbie Larson from the start of the recording project. Music for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet by David Diamond and A Few Words About Chekhov by Dominick Argento will round out the evening.
Come celebrate this historic moment for the Winona Symphony Orchestra with the completion of the recording project and enjoy a performance that paints music of life, love, and beauty. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.winonasymphony.org.
