Minnesota State Arts Board seeking applicants for Advisor Recruitment Coordinator

MSAB logoWe’re hiring.

Each year, more than 400 individuals contribute their time and expertise in key decision-making roles at the Arts Board.  These advisors are vital to the board’s success.  They review and rank grant applications, they conduct artistic evaluations of applicant programs, and they serve on public art selection committees.

The Arts Board is seeking an individual who can expand its recruitment program to identify and engage more Minnesotans in the Arts Board’s activities.  The successful candidate will be creative, organized, and passionate about the arts in Minnesota.  The recruitment coordinator must be a strategic networker, a skilled relationship builder, and an engaging communicator.  The recruitment coordinator will need to develop and implement a range of recruiting strategies (i.e., online, print, and in person) and will be accountable for results. The ultimate goal in this position is to ensure that the Arts Board has a balanced, well qualified pool of individuals, who represent the demographic and geographic diversity of the state, who can help the board make sound decisions about how to invite funds.  A second goal is to enable Minnesotans to play a role in determining how their tax dollars are invested.

This is a full-time, permanent position. This will be a hybrid position.
